Interested in joining the County Town Singers? The choir is welcoming individuals with a passion for singing to join them for their regular rehearsals on Wednesday, January 10 and Wednesday, January 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Kingsview United Church, 505 Adelaide Avenue East in Oshawa. Auditions will be held at the end of rehearsal on January 17.
Members must be available to attend weekly rehearsals, monthly workshops and bi-annual showcases. Dues are $150 per season, which covers funding for rehearsal and performance space, music purchases, and Director and Accompanist remuneration, among other expenses.
New Member Nights offer a great opportunity for aspiring vocalists to explore the world of local performing arts and experience the camaraderie that comes with being part of a community group. The choir’s mixed-voice, auditioned choir comprises sopranos, altos, tenors and basses and welcomes new adult members of all ages, backgrounds and musical experience.
